L. Arick Forrest, MD, MBA

L. Arick Forrest received his medical degree from The Ohio State University. He completed a general surgery internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, a residency at The Ohio State University and a laryngology fellowship at Vanderbilt University.
Considered an international expert in voice and swallowing disorders, Dr. Arick Forrest was named medical director of Ambulatory Services for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2011. He is also vice dean of Clinical Affairs and president of Ohio State University Physicians and the Faculty Group Practice.
Dr. Forrest received his medical degree from The Ohio State University. He completed a general surgery internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, a residency at The Ohio State University and a laryngology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. The fellowship was under the guidance of Robert Ossoff, DMD, MD, and was focused on voice disorders and treating the professional voice. Dr. Forrest went on to complete a second fellowship in microvascular and reconstructive surgery at Ohio State, under the guidance of Michael Sullivan, MD, and focused on post head and neck cancer reconstruction. He obtained his MBA from The Fisher College of Business at Ohio State.
Dr. Forrest, along with Michael Trudeau, PhD, established the Voice and Swallowing Disorders Clinic at Ohio State in 1994. He has served numerous roles for the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery including vice chair, residency program director and Laryngology division and fellowship director.

Kyle L. Sharp, MHA, FACHE
• Executive Director, OSUP and Faculty Group Practice
Kyle Sharp's educational journey took him from Colorado State University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration, to The Ohio State University, where he achieved a Masters in Healthcare Administration and Policy. His career began at OhioHealth, with roles in strategic planning, facilities development, and ambulatory operations.
In 2004, he took a role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, as the Associate Executive Director of the Specialty Care Network and, in 2011, was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of the Faculty Group Practice. In these roles, he led the development of critical clinical department programs and facilitated the seamless transition of faculty into the Faculty Group Practice.
In 2014, Kyle's responsibilities expanded as he assumed the role of Executive Director of Ohio State University Physicians and the Faculty Group Practice. In this capacity, he administers the operations of over 250 clinics, caring for more than 3.7 million patients annually, including OSUP Community LLC and the Mt. Carmel/OSUP Physician Alliance locations.
Beyond his administrative responsibilities, Kyle remains deeply committed to The Ohio State University's MHA program, actively participating in student recruitment events, serving on incoming student alumni panels, supporting summer residents, and contributing to case competitions. In 2020, Kyle reinforced his commitment to education and mentorship by establishing a two-year physician practice-focused administrative fellowship at Ohio State University Physicians.
